I've been SOOOO eager to try a pot melt, and so here we go! I wanted to just use this as a learning opportunity first, so this was never intended to be a goo.

This purple fused glass pot-melt I put it on glass then used a frame that can hang or set-up. I think it's pretty great and the background glass highlights the colors of the pot-melt. Great way to use scrap glass. Line your stainless steel forms with 1/8" fiber paper. Where the ends meet put a small piece of scrap thinfire behind the seam as insurance. Put the form on thinfire or a well kiln washed shelf. Be sure the 1/8" is pushed all the way to the shelf leaving no gaps.
